At Vélorizons, we love gravel as much as we love the Grandes Alpes and their grandiose landscapes. So it's only logical that we should combine these two interests and concoct a great "gravel in the mountains" trip for you. Set off on an unprecedented journey to discover the verdant valleys, flower-filled mountain pastures and wild mountain passes of the Northern French Alps.
We take you away from the often-frequented classic routes like the Madeleine or Galibier for an out-of-the-ordinary adventure. From Lake Geneva to the upper town of Briançon, a clever mix of back roads, mountain pasture tracks and old military roads awaits us. Aboard our gravel bikes, defying all types of terrain, we discover the wildest parts of the Chablais, Beaufortain, Vanoise and Cerces massifs. The finish in the Southern Alps under the eye of Mont Thabor will mark both the end of this great gravel adventure and certainly our spirits. Are you the alpine adventure type? Then don't hesitate!
