The Observatory complex offers a remarkable scientific, historical and natural heritage. UNIVERSARIUM : A FUN AND INTERACTIVE SPACE

Founded in 1881, today the Observatoire de Nice is one of the 4 geographical sites of the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur, a public Earth and Space sciences research centre. Located at Mont Gros to the east of the city of Nice, the site combines exceptional historic heritage with contemporary research infrastructure.
Built by Charles Garnier, it is home to Europe's largest mobile dome, designed by Gustave Eiffel.
UNIVERSARIUM: Travel from the Big Bang to the heart of the stars, test your knowledge of the solar system, live an immersive experience where you will travel through the universe.

Opening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 2 pm and 5 pm.
Closed Monday and Sunday.
Except on December 25 and January 1. Group visits: Tuesday to Saturday. Public visit: Wednesdays and Saturdays (except school vacations).


Full price: 12 € (Full price : Adult without discount)
Child : 6 € (Free for children under 6 years old.)
Student: 6 € (Upon presentation of the student card.)
Family pass: 25 € (Package dedicated to special family visits.
For a group of 4 people including a minimum of one child.)
Disabled: On presentation of the Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) + one person accompanying the CMI holder free of charge.
Group adults: 90 € (Reduced rate for groups of adults with disabilities.)
Set price group children : 60 € (School and leisure center.).

Child entry valid for 6 - 18 years.

Guided tours with registration at 2:45 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays / Fridays of school vacations in zone B.
