From Thonon to Menton via Sospel via the Col du Razet (1032m) and the Col du Berceau (1090) the last stretch of the Route des Grandes Alpes stops at the Bastion. Plaque inaugurated in October 2017.

Start: Thonon-les-Bains - Finish: Menton
Total distance: 700 km, which can be divided into 4 main stages:
1: FROM LAC LEMAN TO LA TARENTAISE (Thonon les Bains - Saint Jean de Sixt - Beaufort - Bourg Saint Maurice) - 184 kms - 5h30
2: FROM THE TARENTAISE VALLEY TO BRIANCONNAIS (Bourg Saint Maurice - Lanslevillard - Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne - Col du Lautaret - Briançon) - 200kms - 5h10
3 : FROM BRIANCONNAIS TO MERCANTOUR (Briançon - Guillestre - Barcelonnette - Guillaumes - Saint-Sauveur de Tinée) - 206kms - 5h30
4 : FROM THE MERCANTOUR TO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée - Sospel - Menton) - 107kms - 3h15
