In Menton, just a stone's throw from the border with Italy, the Col d'Eze is the final climb. Still with a few 5% gradients in its first part, it will become more rolling thereafter to allow you to enjoy magnificent views of the Mediterranean coastline and Monaco while appreciating the duty accomplished after 720 km and 18,000 m of D+!

Col d'eze - profil versant ouest
From kilometer zero and without transition, you'll start on the Col d'Èze. The altitude may seem modest, but if you remember that you're starting from sea level... well, you'll have to climb almost 500 m in 11 kilometers. The 2 intermediate cols of Villefranche and Quatre Chemins and a few fairly sustained sections may already have you overheating, but the magnificent views over the Mediterranean coastline should make things easier.
