August 2, the Madeleine for all!
When the Étape du Tour Féminin meets the Tour Femmes!
A closed road. A starting arch. An official jersey. Faces tense, others already delighted. And ahead: a mythical mountain pass to climb. On August 2, 2025, the Étape du Tour Féminin will offer 3,000 amateur cyclists a unique experience: the chance to ride a few hours ahead of the Tour de France Femmes professionals, on a high-altitude course.
An open challenge, a grand finale
Two courses on offer: an exact copy of the pros' stage (117 km and 3,540 m D+), or a lighter but tougher version (98 km for 3,050 m D+). Whatever the distance, the reward remains the same: a finish at the summit of the Col de la Madeleine, between Maurienne and Tarentaise, the figurehead of the Route des Grandes Alpes®. A climb as panoramic as it is relentless, which will have left its mark on the legs as much as on the spirits.
An unfiltered Tour day
Festive atmosphere at the start village in Chambéry, safe roads, cheering at the bends, arrival at the summit... and the icing on the cake: witnessing the arrival of the champions afterwards. The idea is not to follow the Tour, but to precede it!
