Everything you always wanted to know...
... on VAE touring in the Alps!
With the rise of the electric-assist bike, Route des Grandes Alpes ® and P'tites Routes du Soleil ® are opening up to a wider public, eager to discover the great Alpine passes without running up against the limits of endurance. To accompany this evolution, we have created a section entirely dedicated to this practice.
A comprehensive resource, adapted to the realities of mountain touring on a VAE
Thoughtfully designed for touring cyclists, this section offers a wealth of practical information: details of stages with distances, gradients and difficulties, recommended variants for VAEs, advice on managing autonomy and recharging, recharging points identified on an interactive map, suitable accommodation, feedback... All of this has been designed to meet the practical needs of both beginners and more experienced users of VAEs in alpine terrain. Recharging solutions compatible with the most widespread standards - notably those developed by brands such as Bosch - are also highlighted.

Accessible, multilingual documentation
To support all traveler profiles, this section is available in six languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish. This editorial choice reflects our desire for openness and accessibility, in phase with the project's European ambition.
